What is Camslice?

Nate

Camslice is about these four main characters: Anna, Alex, Ben, and Neil. It shows what it's like being a group of friends who have a career on the biggest online video-sharing platform (Youtube), along with showing some "slice of life" perspectives of the characters off camera. Regularly updates on Saturday and Sunday

The Artist and Creator himself

Nathaniel Enriquez AKA anonymisartist is the writer, creator, and artist of the webcomic "Camslice", And yes I do mostly everything it's very hard but at the end of the day I get the job done. Born and raised in Brampton, Ontario Canada Nathaniel begin his passion of drawing around 9 years old. He got inspired by other artists along the way and with other webseries/webcomics online. In 2017 he wanted to created his own characters Alex and Anna. There wasn't really any use for them at that time until he came up with an idea where they could be in comics. And that's where it all happened

The Inspiration, Title, and Idea

The title has 2 meanings behind it. In the comic, the characters choose this name for their YouTube channel because it represents a camera ("Cam") which they obviously use to record their videos, and the word "slice" represents how they have different types or "slices" of content on their channel. As a title for the entire webcomic, the word "Cam" represents them being on camera and creating content on YouTube, and the word "Slice" represents the off-camera/slice of life perspective of the four main characters that is shown in the comic. So that's why I chose this name for it. Now, most of the inspiration for the comic came from a wide variety of YouTube channels, (Specifically TheCreaturesHub, Cow Chop, and the other Rooster Teeth's let's play channels) ranging from gaming to vlogs and other types of genres or content. The vast variety of crazy things people do on camera just to get famous is really astonishing to me. So I wanted to create a webcomic about a webgroup of some likeable and funny characters, on their path to fame, and what it's like to be a YouTuber. And so I did, with a little help from a friend who helped me edit some of the story's logic. Thanks Bradley.
